I am getting a jump start on the kids Valentines this year. It started as I was browsing and saw a card with a familiar saying. Then just a couple of days later I saw a box of chips at Costco on sale. It was meant to be. I told my oldest daughter about the Valentine idea and said “you’re all that and a bag of chips” in my coolest 90’s voice. She just looked at me and said “Mom, I am not saying that”. When I explained to her that she wouldn’t have to say it, that it would just be written on a card then she was all for it.
In fact she keeps saying it and when I was having a hard day a little while ago, I got a hand written note from her informing me that I was all that and a bag of chips. We’re bringing the 90’s back one chip at a time.
I was going to go and get another box of individual chip bags for my younger daughter to give as well but then I came upon a package of candy watch rings. Suddenly more Valentine sayings were dancing around in my head (plus the thought that these were way cheaper than chips!). So it has come to this. I can not look at candy with out trying to make up a Valentine saying for it. I only hope it will end now that I have the kids’ Valentines done. So the saying I came up with for the candy watch bracelet was “It’s time I ask you to be my Valentine”. Cute right? I made both the Valentine tags for the candy watch and for the chips with the print and cut feature of my Silhouette CAMEO.
