Stovetop Bean Dip

stovetop_bean dip recipe

A little while ago I was looking around for an easy refried bean dip.  I found this slow cooker bean dip from The Crafting Chicks  and it was pretty close to what I wanted.  In an effort to make it as easy and quick as possible, I omitted the hamburger meat and decided to do it on the stovetop instead of the crock pot.  I also didn’t want a humongous pot of it so I halved the recipe.  Turned out really good and there were still leftovers!  Perfect for any Mexican side dish or Game Time Tailgating!

8 oz. Cheese Whiz (1 small jar or 1/2 a 15 oz jar)

Combine all the ingredients in a pot on the stovetop and heat until warmed through.  Serve with sour cream, shredded cheese and chips.
