Like many people, it was the first day of school for my little preschool girl. She was so excited and not scared one single bit. The night before at dinner we went around the table and gave her some advice for starting her first day of school. She chimed in with her own advice for herself which was to “stay so calm”. She either really listened to her own advice or didn’t even need it because she was a champ! She ran right in ahead of me and I had to yell to her to wait up. She was happy to finally get to wear her gold polka dot peplum top and wanted to curl her hair to look “fancy”.
When I picked her up from school, the first words she said were “school rocks!” I am relieved that everything went so smoothly and am highly anticipating a good upcoming school year. I made this first day of school chalkboard art for her to have a picture with and I have to say that I really like it! I made it by first tracing a large bowl and leaving an opening at the top. I started at the bottom drawing the leaves going up both sides. It was easy to do and I was so impressed with how nice it looked. I will most likely use this chalkboard leaf wreath design again!
In case you missed the other first day of school chalkboard art I did for my older daughter, you can check it out here.
